about

Dedicated to the memory of Timothy Gabriel Bailey, 1975-2021.

This is perhaps one of the most emotionally difficult recordings I have set my hands to.

I have very few memories of my early childhood - one unusually vivid one is of my older brother Tim consoling me every night that I wouldn't "stop breathing" when I fell asleep, an irrational fear I nursed for some time. This is extremely and cruelly ironic in light of how my brother eventually died, another memory which will remain with me for life.

Without my brother's influence I would not have discovered music and writing as creative outlets; put simply I would not exist.

Much more can be said, but I'd prefer you hear it via the medium of 'pure' sound, as I present it here.

Please support this with a purchase if you can. I want to donate proceeds from this to St. David's hospital in Austin, who did all they feasibly could to help my brother once he was diagnosed with lymphoma. I'd also like to release this in a 'proper' physical format more fitting to my brother's memory, any interested parties may contact me - tbwb@protonmail.com
