This will be the first in a series of limited edition “audio postcards” from my Fifteen Minutes of Anonymity label, featuring exclusive visual artwork and otherwise unavailable sonics from skilled audio operators around the globe. Purchase of the digital album also entitles you to a lush, double-sided, silver foil-stamped postcard (sample images are shown on the merch page, but I won’t be able to provide images of the genuine article until these are delivered to me by the release date).
You can choose to have this mailed to you on its own (in which case, it comes signed and dedicated by me) or unmarked, inside a mailing envelope and protective plastic sleeve. (Please note your preference when you check out!). Worldwide shipping is included with your purchase.
The music accompanying these little items is not “rush job”, outtake material, but music carefully constructed to match the visual aesthetics of each card. This first epic track comprises 20 minutes of syntheses that I strive to make a hallmark of all my sound work: shimmering textures mixed with chthonic rumbling, “authentic” human presence and aleatory machinery, swells of angelic ambience and anxious bursts of micro-sound, crystalline surfaces and layers of dust. I know that many do enjoy reference points, so - this too could be described as a synthesis of esoteric “driftworks” from the likes of Troum / Maeror Tri, and the sonic vocabulary of the French acousmatic masters (Francois Bayle, Bernard Parmegiani, etc.) It’s a mine that I hope will provide us with audio gems for years to come - another shot in my war against cliche and for depth and breadth of sensory experience.
This art-object is done with the kind collaboration of artist / educator Paul Takahashi. For the“Abiogenesis” photographic series featured for the “cover” / card art, he uses inks and various organic fluids to play with patterns, colours, flow and resistance. More at
