about

One day I will write (another) book solely about all the albums, tracks, and non-music projects that people had agreed to release / publish for me, and then didn't. There is a certain artfulness to the backpedaling from the non-releasers, and there are certain interesting patterns that form over two odd decades of this sort of thing. I have had backers with 100s of thousands of fans just walk out on contracts, and, in the case of this one, "merely" have psychotic breaks and decide to take an indefinite hiatus from music (which of course turned out not to be indefinite as soon as I'd lost interest).

This track, which I do enjoy despite its eventual lack of availability on a physical medium, features me reciting from Henri Michaux' highly recommended, timeless testimonial of psychedelic pandemonium, "Miserable Miracle." My pseudo-devious intent was to contribute to a "noise" compilation with a piece that was essentially *about* noise rather than featuring any "noisy" content; in particular this was based on Michaux' struggles to navigate through a sea of psychic noise formed from mescaline intake.

All machinery was manipulated by TBWB in winter of 2016-2017, vocals were again recorded expertly by Alex Keller in the Texas city formerly known for its live music industry.
